There will be no badminton on Saturday March 2 at the Udall Recreation Center, due to the Senior Olympics taking place
Unfortunately, there will be a basketball tournament all this weekend
(Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) in both the North and South Gym, so we
will not have any space or time to play. Sorry for the relatively
short notice. Now go out and have a life outside badminton.
Also, sign up for our tournament on 3/23!! A reminder that it is
round-robin, so there are at least 3 games guaranteed, plus
snacks/fruit/Gatorade/shuttles/lunch will all be provided with the
fee. Go to our website at www.uazbadminton.com for more info or to
find the registration form.
The Arizona Senior Games are coming. Badminton is on the list of games and you can sign up to play here. Details of the tournament format and contact details can be seen on this link to a pdf. The general information is below. Good luck!

Hibachi Super Buffet is an upscale Asian/Hibachi buffet restaurant with a new modern look. We will have our own private room and their selection of food is remarkable with over 250 items prepared fresh every day. They have oysters, whole fish, salmon, shrimp (coconut and bacon wrapped to name just two), pork, beef and chicken dishes and a full Mongolian style buffet where you pick out your food and have it cooked to order. There are lots of vegetables and fresh fruit and many choices of deserts. We held the TBC annual meeting there just last week and everyone came away impressed. Soft drinks are included and it’s all inclusive for $14.00. Of course alcoholic beverages are available at additional charge.
