Opening times during the holiday season

Udall Rec center will be closed Tuesday December 25 and Tuesday January 1.

Randolph Rec Center will be open Monday December 24 and Monday December 31 until 2PM so there will be open play on those two days.

For players playing at the University, be aware that there will be no more badminton after today (December 14) until the new Spring semester. However you can still play at the Morris K Udall and Randolph recreation centers.

A reminder for people who are not University of Arizona students and who wish to play at there: don’t forget to write to the Badminton president as soon as possible and ask to be considered for a pass to play! This will allow you to play on Friday evening and Sunday mornings: uazbadminton(at)gmail.com

Badminton Equipment and Services in Tucson

Residents of Tucson often bemoan the lack of badminton related services here in this town. Usually the internet is where many of us go to find items but this can lead to difficulties when you want to try something out, or see it in person before you part with your cash.

Many of the club members go to Ramesh. He plays at all the courts and offers Racquets, Shoes, and all the bits in between like strings, grommets, grips and bags. He also re-strings racquets and has stuff suitable for beginners all the way up to the serious player.

His prices are always below retail and as a player himself, offers good advice on the products for sale. You can often find him at the courts or you can phone him on 520 869 8676.
